Stars
Stars can be seen at night.
Stars are in different sizes. Large stars are called giants or super giants. Smaller stars are called dwarfs.
Stars are in different colours. They can be red, yellow, blue or white.
Stars are made of very hot gases. Stars grow bigger and bigger and redder as the gas burns up. Then they shrink to be a small white dwarf star.
Some giant stars explode at the end of their lives. There are stars by themselves. There are double stars which are in pairs.
Large groups of stars are called galaxies. There are lots of galaxies in the universe.
